Dobrev Klára elterjesztette, hogy már minden sínen van az európai minimálbér ügyében, mivel az Európai Bizottság új elnöke, Ursula von der Leyen a támogatásáról biztosította. De egyszer csak eljött az igazság pillanata, ráadásul a legváratlanabb helyről, a DK-val egy pártcsaládba tartozó baloldali, munkahelyteremtésért felelős biztosjelölt, bizonyos Nicolas Schmit az európai parlamenti meghallgatásán egyértelművé tette: nem lesz európai minimálbér és nincs is tervbe véve. 

Klara Dobrev said she was already on the European minimum wage, thanks to the support of the new President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. But once in a while the truth came, and from the most unexpected place, the DK-based left-wing Commissioner for job creation, certain Nicolas Schmit, made it clear during his hearing in the European Parliament that there would be no European minimum wage or plan.
